About this app

SmartMove an innovative, interactive, outdoor walking and sports route

Interactive bollards, the SmartStones, will be placed along the route. These can communicate with each other remotely. With the SmartMove app, you can participate in a game or training by checking in at a pole and selecting a game. Every time you pass a SmartStone, your game participation is recognized and you get feedback via color (LED lights in the SmartStone).

In the app you can view the collected data and use it, depending on the game. For example, you can collect puzzle pieces, with which you eventually solve the puzzle. Or you get awards and rewards if you complete a route, say, five times. You can do routes alone and constantly improve yourself, or in a team with a real competition. The possibilities are endless, all by programming Embedded Fitness and controlling it by the user with the app.

For each new location, municipality, healthcare institution or school environment, it is possible to design the objects in a different way and to develop games for the app that suit the target group of that location. Existing games can possibly be played in new locations, but it is also possible to develop specific content for a specific location. Think of games with cultural-historical references to the environment. Certain events or a combination with indoor and outdoor (hospital, school).
