Mobile Tickets F.A.Q.

What is mobile ticketing?

Mobile ticketing is the process where patrons obtain and gain entry to an event using their mobile phone. A mobile ticket contains a unique ticket verification using SafeTix™ which keeps your tickets safe and secure and allows for easy retrieval and entry at the event. SafeTix™ are powered by a new and unique barcode that automatically refreshes every few seconds so it cannot be stolen or copied, keeping your tickets safe and secure. Tickets added to the wallet also include NFC technology that will allow patrons to enter through a simple “tap and go” experience at venue entrances; they are not scanned with a barcode.

Why are mobile tickets more secure?

Mobile tickets add an additional layer of security against counterfeit and stolen tickets by having a unique barcode that is scanned when you arrive. By allowing only one scan per entry, any attempts to duplicate, alter or sell copies of the mobile tickets will result in denied entry.

How do I access my mobile tickets?

You can access your tickets through the Fox Cities P.A.C. mobile app. Shortly after you complete your ticket purchase for all shows except Broadway, you will be able to access your tickets via the app when you login to your Ticketmaster account.

For Broadway performances, show tickets may not be available to add to your mobile device until closer to the show date. Season Ticket Holders will receive an email when they are available to be accessed.

Remember that the tickets in your Mobile Wallet are valid tickets and should be protected like you would any other ticket.

How do I share tickets with friends that might be coming with me?

After you have accessed your mobile tickets, you simply select the event you want to transfer, click Continue, enter your recipient’s information and click Transfer to finalize. When transferring tickets, you will receive an email confirming your tickets have been sent. The recipient will also receive an email prompting them to accept the tickets. You will receive a second email confirming they have accepted the tickets. Once the transfer has been accepted, the tickets in your account are no longer valid and will not allow entry into the event. You cannot cancel a transfer that has been accepted.

Can I use a screenshot of my mobile ticket to enter?

No, you cannot take a screenshot of your mobile ticket. This is because the barcode on your ticket dynamically refreshes on a regular basis, so it is not a static image available to screenshot.

What happens when I arrive for a show?

You can access your mobile tickets within your wallet on your phone and place your phone under the contactless scanner to scan your mobile tickets. Be sure to turn your mobile phone’s screen brightness up to the highest level.
