Ever wonder how many annual leave days you are entitled to? Or do you have any enquiries about your overtime pay?

Looking for answers can be daunting when you are in the midst of a workplace dispute.

If you want to do some research on your own first before talking to someone else, you can ask the new ‘bot’ on your MyNTUC app that can help you with your workplace enquiries.

New Chatbot Feature

Workers can now make use of the new Workplace Advisory (WA) feature in the MyNTUC application, which automatically answers workplace-related enquiries through a chatbot.

Before going ahead with the WA app, users are advised to read the disclaimer for a detailed list of what the WA app can help them with. They include leave and salary matters, termination or dismissal, retrenchment, and contract of service.

Users can also enquire about maternity leave, how to plan for it and the entitlements.

For questions that the chatbot cannot answer, users will be referred to other help channels.

Anyone can download the MyNTUC app from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and use the WA feature. The service is available to both NTUC members and the general public.

Have any thoughts on the new chatbot? Do use the feedback function in the app.
