About this app

AudioFetch is the premium solution for local audio to smartphones and tablets over WiFi for unlimited uses including:
Fitness Centers: Delight your customers by enabling them to hear TV audio throughout the facility without being tethered to cardio equipment. Great for GroupEx classes as well.
Sports Bars: Sports fans will choose your pub, stay longer, and order more items when they can hear their game.
Church: Enhance your church services with assistive listening and/or real-time translation for those who need it. Works great with popular Bluetooth-enabled headphones.
Tourism: Replace outdated, expensive and unhygienic tour guide receivers with your guests’ smartphones, and allow your guests to maintain a safe social distance while still hearing the program.

It works mostly, but it needs an interface to explain things such as disabling Bluetooth to performance. Selecting broadcast channels from a list, pausing, and perhaps added channel information for participating clients on site would bring a better look and feel. The gui feels like it was a high school project. Disable Bluetooth and your performance issues will subside... the underlying backend is definitely done well by a company with experience. They just need a gui, channels, feedback module, ability to save locations where applicable, playback controls (limited multicast), and better FAQ/troubleshooting. What is preventing the success of this app is the interaction model and the ability to bypass common issues easily such as prompting to disable Bluetooth. (If buffering occurs frequently in a threshold within a time period and Bluetooth is enabled, prompt user to disable Bluetooth) Two thousand dollars to the right developer will give them the non-bloated front end they desperately need.

My gym started using AudioFetch a few months ago and I haven't had a single day that it works on the first try. It might play the wrong channel, not play at all, be stuck on one channel, not let me switch channels or a mix of all of those. It's very frustrating. I'll be on the treadmill standing for 5+ minutes trying to get sound. Often I'll just give up and listen to my music instead. I wouldn't recommend.

I recently purchased AudioFetch Express to add hearing assistance to our Sunday worship services. I was excited about all the features and the ability to use the same device for inside the church and for tours. I am very impressed with how easy AudioFetch was to set up and use. My hard-of-hearing parents felt it worked well also. Integrating AudioFetch into our church audio system was a breeze. We were able to get multiple users up and running quickly. For any questions we had, we received excellent support. Highly recommended!!
