While trying to book my first ride I had two drivers cancel the trip on me after not showing up. I was charged for both trips however customer service was quick to rectify. I used a $20 off voucher on the trip when I finally got it but this was never deducted from the fare. Definitely teething problems for the moment but hopefully they sort them out.

In Launceston is great most of the time.. needs a few more drivers tho'! Occasionally I've had no luck due to all drivers being busy and choosing closer fares, or all drivers being unavailable because they're offline. ( Same on uber ) Great price .. app is based on distance traveled not a set rate .. uber is a set rate . Oscar works out to be more affordable most of the time. Plus it's an Australian owned App so the drivers get better rates.. ! .. 10/10 RECOMMENDED APP FOR AUSTRALIANS .. !

The app itself so far seems to work great. The only thing its missing is a way to review/report drivers. Uber has this function and it keeps drivers honest, polite and punctual, Hi Oscar doesnt seem to have that accountability. Ive had rude drivers and several cancel on me with no explanation after waiting over 15mins for them to arrive.
