形容眼前所見，自然想用準確的語言，但是生活在非英語環境，霎時間可能想不起對應詞。用「牛津英漢辭書」，可以查中文找英文對應詞，可以看插圖找相關詞語，透過視覺記憶生詞，印象更加深刻。

要語言運用得正確自然，查看《搭配詞典》，可以找出地道、得體的用詞。例如要說「開支票」，查 cheque 這個詞，便知道不可以說 open a cheque，應該說 issue / write / draw / make out a cheque。

口頭或書寫溝通，除了表達要準確，也應避免措辭單調、重複。例如要形容「快」，查看《同義詞詞典》，便可以找出 a fast car（但不可說 a quick car）、a quick decision、express delivery services、supersonic flight、swift action、a brisk walk、a speedy recovery 等等。

日常工作中，會接觸到各行各業的用語。查看《商務英語詞典》，可以找出詞語在不同行業中特有的含義和用法，例如 to buy high-yield securities（購買高收益證券）、to pledge something as security（將某物充當抵押品）。

I've subscribed to the iOS OECD app since December 2019 after the dictionary users forum event. I've been convinced since then, in addition to my existing OALECD 7e and OALECD (8th). The OECD app really helps with my daily workflow both personally and professionally. It is especially true when the 'universal simple and full text search' finally made its way into the OECD app.

Trustworthy dictionaries all in one single app

Look no further if you need a set of credible dictionaries always ready in hand. With the universal search function, all bundled dictionaries double as C-E dictionaries as well. As a long-term OALD series user, I’m glad that Oxford University Press (China) has always kept releasing new content and updating the app. Worth every dollar I have spent.

I found this is the most comprehensive and detailed collection of English to Chinese dictionaries by far, featuring numerous very useful libraries such as thesaurus, phrasal verbs and idioms. Excellent Chinese definitions. Thank you!
