Good chicken, bad service at Gevers, San Antonio

Online order said ready in 17 minutes. Got there at 20 minutes. Once they found the order, they sai it would be 10 minutes. I let them know about the confirmation of 17 minutes and, as I was speaking, the manager came up and again stated it would be 10 minutes. I restated my issue. She said “sometimes tickets don’t come over ( which was not the case because they found mine on the machine). I said that that was not my fault and she said “it’s not our fault either”. At that point I felt like I needed to stop. I told them I would wait in my car and I asked for a drink while I waited. The manager said “what.” And the front line lady handed me a cup.

I got home and the family fries and Garvey was missing. I called and they said to come back for it. Husband went back and asked for district manager name and contact info. He was told it is Mr Sonny. When he asked for a number, he was told he could find it online. When he commented on the sign for the employees to double check the order, he was asked if there is anything else they could help with and then she walked away.

Online Order

I placed my order online and was notified that it would be ready in 10 minutes. I got there in 10 minutes and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. They asked me to park in front and wait for them to bring it out to me. I parked in front and waited for 15 minutes. Then, I went inside and asked the young man at the counter what was wrong with my order? He said that an online order does not get taken care of as quickly as an inside or outside kiosk order. He told me that the cook had left without putting any wings in, and that they just now put the wings in. He was not very friendly. As a matter fact he was really rude. He has no business being in that business. When he was filling my order I was watching him and he got four rolls and put them in a sack. He use the tongs, which was fine, but he tore the rolls into pieces. When I returned home with my order, the rolls were hard. I have been going to this establishment for 30 years and have never been treated like that. I am going to make a trip back in a few days and try to have a talk with the manager and or owner. I am so disgusted right now that I really don’t need to be talking to anyone.

Second chance and they blew it again

Seems like every time we get something from there it isn’t correct. Decided to give them another chance (I think this is actually the fourth chance) and was disappointed yet again. I figured I would order online and since they had the order physically in front of them they would get it right.....WRONG! I had something added to my cod sandwich which was an extra charge, got charged for it but it was not added to the sandwich. I had also ordered 2 large drinks with extra ice. Pulled up to the window to get my order and they had forgot my drinks and I had to ask for them. Asked for extra ice in my drinks, they barely put any ice in the cups and by the time I got home there wasn’t any in the cup it had already melted . I don’t like drinking room temperature tea. The food is good but I wished they would at least be more attentive to your order and make sure it is correct before handing it out of the window. I’m burned out on getting incomplete/wrong orders so I think I’m just going to give it a break from getting food from GC.
