You can keep track of your journey in real-time using the EMR train times app feature. Simply head to the 'Live Times' tab at the bottom of the screen to view train schedules. Alternatively, you can head to My Account and click ‘Live Updates’ where you will be taken to our website and can view real time travel updates along with any disruptions.
To activate your flexi ticket and load it to your smartcard, head to 'My Tickets' and click on the Active tab. If you don't already have a smartcard, you can order one by clicking here.

Can I purchase rail cards in the app?
No, railcards cannot be purchased on the EMR train app but can be used when purchasing rail tickets.
Can I amend or refund my tickets on the EMR railway app?
In case you need to change your plans, you can easily manage your booking through the app by changing the time or date of your trip or requesting a refund. If you ever need to request a refund, you can do so through the 'My tickets' section of our train booking app.
Do I need a new account to purchase tickets through the app?
If you already have an EMR account, you can simply log in to the app and your details will automatically sync with both the app and the website. However, if you do not have an account yet, you can register by selecting the "Register" option on the sign-in screen of the app. Alternatively, you can visit the EMR website to register for an account.
No, our free train booking app will only work within the UK. Our website can be used whilst outside of the UK but your train tickets will only become available when you are back in the UK.
