The LG ThinQ app supports Android OS 7.0 and higher versions.
If you are using an Android OS version older than 7.0, we recommend that you contact the smartphone manufacturer to upgrade the OS.

The accessibility API is used only to transmit the signal that users input to the TV remote control to the smartphone when using the ‘View Phone Screen on TV's Larger Screen’ function in the LG ThinQ app.
We do not collect or use your information except for the minimum information necessary to operate your smartphone.

I have this app for my new air fryer/microwave. It seemed like this would be awesome to have. However it's completely useless. You are able to scan barcodes and the machine is supposed to set the microwave to whatever the cooking instructions are (sounds awesome right?). However i have scanned about 50 different barcodes and not one is supported by the app. Pizza rolls, hot pockets, chicken nuggets, tv dinners nothing. What is the point of having a feature that is useless

Edit as of 4-14-24: I now no longer have to be on a certain wifi or have location enabled to control my A/C, which is great!! However, now I'm having trouble with screen sharing. When I play Crunchyroll videos, the audio works fine but video is just black. This app was handy when it worked. Now it doesn't, because apparently I have to be on a certain type of WiFi as well as give location access??? Dumb and unnecessary, considering it functioned just fine before these things were "required."

This app is a great idea in theory. I purchased a new LG washer and dryer set to replace my older set that was getting worn out. The app was a great upgrade, BUT it keeps losing connection with my machines! Every couple of days, it will tell me I need to delete them and sync them again to restore connection. I love the idea of the app, but it has serious connection issues, which may cause me to delete it soon. I'll just go back to my old way of listening for the melody to know it is done!

• From the product registration page, you can see and register LG appliances, as well as other company appliances all at once.
