Not very good

I filled out all information when I uploaded the app. Including all needed pictures. I also had all of my paperwork stamped, the actual purchases and proof of purchases with me when I left the EU. Had everything sorted, stamped, and mailed (dropped into the box) before leaving the EU. So disappointed to find that 2 months later there is still a message on my app stating “Stamp needed”. This is not the case and I have many pictures to prove it. Yet, there is no contact information under the heading of “contact us” in the app to find help. I’ll think twice about purchasing big items using Global Blue VAT services in Europe when I head over again in 2 months.

charges about 10% of your refund and no need for it

IT IS NOT FREE. I WAS CHARGED WITHOUT NOTICE. You don’t need the app for any reason. It is not easy to reach customer service. The app doesn’t tell you that it will charge percentage of your refund. And the most important thing to know is the you don’t need this app at all. It doesn’t save you any time at the airport. You still have to scan your form using the machine at the airport whether you have the app or not. I used the app because I thought it was free. It helps you look at all your purchases in one place but that is not worth any percentage of your refund. I downloaded it after I received the message when I shopped at Zara. I am very upset that they charged me 9 to 10% without any notice. I don’t know if Zara get some money too because they help the app by sending text messages to the buyer. I couldn’t contact customer service. I really would like to get my money back or I think this company should be sued for misleading customers.

Last version is broken

I have bene using this app since it was released, but the last version has some basic functionalities that simply don't work. Despite the fact that I do have a refund method set in my profile that I can see when logged into the the website, the app doesn't seem to know. It asks me to add a refund method and, when I try, it either closes/crashes or gives me a "technical error" message.
The "scan your credit card" also doesn't work because the automatic capture does never actually take the picture (even when the camera successfully recognizes the card).
While I understand that the marketing and sales through the app make an important part of the business, the CORE business of Global Blue is to give tax refunds and that's THE thing that should work flawlessly.
